Kal Patel, BrightInsight CEO and co-founder, talked about its collaboration with CSL Behring on digital health tools to support patients on some of the pharma company’s therapies. Its companion app for Hizentra, for example, is aimed at helping patients with primary immunodeficiency who require infusions make the transition to care at home. It’s also unlocking data for CSL Behring. 

Ivana Naeymi-Rad, COO with Intelligent Medical Objects shared how the health tech business is meeting the challenges of interoperability by improving data aggregation and adding fidelity to data.

Dr. Mark Pratt, chief medical officer with Altera Digital Health, highlighted the company’s work in rural health. He also discussed Altera’s partnership with Harris Affinity to help hospitals improve revenue capture and reduce costs.
